The Bosch FLEXIDOME micro 2000 IP Series NUC-20012-F2 720p Indoor Microdome Camera is a ready-to-use, compact network video surveillance system. Equipped with a 2.5mm fixed lens, the camera is suitable for use in homes, small offices, and retail businesses.

iDNR Reduces Bandwidth and Storage Requirements
The camera uses iDNR (intelligent Dynamic Noise Reduction), which actively analyzes the contents of a scene and reduces noise artifacts accordingly. This feature works with efficient H.264 compression to provide clear images while reducing bandwidth usage and storage space. The camera provides the most usable image possible by optimizing the detail-to-bandwidth ratio.
Area-Based Encoding
Area-based encoding lets you set compression parameters for up to 8 regions in a scene. This allows uninteresting regions to be highly compressed, leaving more bandwidth for important parts of the scene.
Compact and Stylish Design
The compact design is suitable for indoor installations where housing size and appearance are important. It can be mounted on various surfaces such as walls and suspended ceilings.
720p Resolution with Multiple Streams
The camera can output video at 720p resolution (30 ips). It also has a multi-streaming feature that lets it deliver multiple H.264 streams alongside one M-JPEG stream. These streams facilitate bandwidth-efficient viewing and recording as well as integration with third-party video management systems.
Edge Recording
The camera has a microSD card slot that supports up to 2TB of storage. A microSD card (sold separately) can be used for recording local alarm events. Pre-alarm recording in RAM reduces recording bandwidth on the network, or - if microSD card recording is used - extends the effective life of the storage medium.
Motion, Tamper, and Audio Detection
A wide range of configuration options is available for signaling motion, audio and camera tampering. A built-in algorithm for detecting movement in the video along with a built-in microphone lets operators closely monitor the area in concern.
Cloud Support
The camera supports time- or alarm-based video clip or JPEG image export to 4 different accounts, which can be FTP servers or cloud-based storage facilities such as Dropbox. Alarms can be set up to trigger emails or SMS notifications.
Easy Installation
Power can be supplied via a PoE (IEEE 802.3af)-compliant network cable connection or through 12/24VDC power supplies. When using PoE, only a single cable is required to view, power, and control the camera, as a local power source is not required. To increase system reliability, the camera can be simultaneously connected to both PoE and 12/24VDC supplies. Additionally, UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) can be used for continuous operation during power failures. For trouble-free network cabling, the camera supports Auto-MDIX ports.
Access Security
For security, the camera supports 3-level password protection and 802.1x authentication. It also stores an SSL certificate that can be used to secure Web browser access via HTTPS. The video and audio communication channels can be independently encrypted with 128-bit keys (AES) by installing an encryption site license (sold separately).
Complete Viewing Software
The camera's video features can be accessed using a Web browser, the included Bosch Video Client PC surveillance software (included in a CD), or with the video security mobile app. The included Bosch Video Client software offers a user-friendly interface to facilitate installation and configuration. It provides live views of multiple cameras, plays videos, forensic search, and can export videos and images.
Video Security App
The Bosch video security mobile app lets you view live images from any location. The app is designed to give you complete control of all your cameras-you can control the cameras' pan, tilt, zoom and focus functions. When paired with a transcoder (sold separately), it allows you to utilize dynamic transcoding features and play back images even over low-bandwidth connections.
